Uncle Pecos is a fictional character from the classic animated television series “Tom and Jerry.” He is an older mouse who is related to Jerry Mouse and appears in the episode “Pecos Pest,” which originally aired in 1955. Uncle Pecos is a country singer who comes to visit Jerry. In the episode, Uncle Pecos repeatedly borrows parts of Tom Cat’s whiskers to use as guitar strings, much to Tom’s distress. Uncle Pecos is characterized by his eccentric behavior, strong Southern accent, and humorous interactions with Tom and Jerry.
