Grateful Dead Just Say N2O Shirt

“JUST SAY N2O” was a popular slogan among the Deadhead community, often used to encourage people to use N2O. The slogan has been around since the late 1970s and has been used on many Grateful Dead-related t-shirts and other merchandise. Although the Grateful Dead do not officially encourage the use of N2O, but they did not discourage fans from using it. Some band members even admitted to using N2O in the past.

So what is N2O? That’s the chemical formula of laughing gas (nitrous oxide). A mild hallucinogenic gas commonly used in Grateful Dead concerts. Deadheads will often use N2O to heighten excitement. Just Say N2O shirts were sold unofficially during many of the band’s tours in the early 90s. This shirt is said to have been sold at Dead shows in DC & Ohio.
